FAME FRAME Gallery is proud to present The Animal Kingdom, a grand exhibition dedicated to the boundless diversity and profound symbolism of animals in art. Across centuries and civilizations, creatures have stood as mirrors to humanity — guardians of myth, emblems of power, muses of beauty, and companions of solitude. From the cave paintings of our ancestors to the refined canvases of today, the animal presence has been a constant reminder that art is never solely about us, but about life itself.
In this show, we celebrate the dignity, ferocity, elegance, and tenderness of the animal world. Each artwork is a representation of form and also a gesture toward understanding: the fluid grace of a running horse, the still majesty of a lion’s gaze, the delicate vulnerability of a bird in flight. Animals in art are never silent — they speak of survival, kinship, reverence, and awe.
With The Animal Kingdom, FAME FRAME seeks to frame not only images, but voices of artists who channel the essence of life beyond the human, and the voices of the creatures who, through brushstrokes and pigments, remind us of our place in a greater continuum. This exhibition is an invitation to look deeper, to recognize in every eye and every movement an echo of ourselves, and yet something infinitely larger than us.
Here, the kingdom is revealed.
Winning works will be unveiled here on 7.11.2025.
ARTISTS’ ENTRY OPENS ON 15.10.2025.

First Prize Winner Thera Kalt, Invisible Compass
Soft pastel and pastel pencils, 60×80 cm
While creating this painting, I reflected on the fragility and worth of every life. Where life is welcomed and gently protected, resilience arises naturally. In this attunement, humanity and the animal world breathe in one rhythm, carrying forward the story of our journey on Earth.

The work simultaneously interprets the flight of a flock of birds and the continuous flight path of a single bird.
Merit Award Winner Katharine Litchman, Waya
Fiber United States
I am fascinated by wolves and am distressed at how they are managed (hunted and mercilessly killed) in the United States. The wolf is an integral part of our eco system and it is documented that where the wolf has been reintroduced, flora and fauna is better balanced and thriving. Waya is running, running for his life.
Merit Award Winner Mondejar Vega Art, Le Cri
France

In 'The Unbroken Bond', one zebra leans in trust while the other keeps watch, a tender balance of rest and protection. Their silent connection reflects the unspoken harmony and mutual protection that defines survival in nature.

The human-like gestures of this silverback gorilla were a good reminder of how closely we are all related. I edited the image to emphasize the lines and wrinkles we all get as we age.
